BSD Volunteers
An 18+ "Bungou Stray Dogs" volunteer initiative in support of Palestinian relief efforts!💫 Current Stage: Contributor Applications open from April 18th - May 18th!
About Us
The BSDVolunteers Initiative is a charity-focused event aiming to foster a sense of community within the BSD fandom while raising donations in support of the Palestinian community. We believe that we create best when we create together, so we are looking forward to fostering a space for mutual exchange and encouragement, with the final goal of creating new works for the fandom's collective enjoyment and supporting the Palestine Children's Relief Fund!About Our EventThis event will work as a donation drive in which people can make donations to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund in exchange for access to the pieces created by our volunteers. Contributors will get to choose between creating their pieces individually or working in artist/writer pair-ups!This will be an Alternative Universes-themed event, meaning that all works created must be set in a different Universe than the canon setting, with as much variety as possible.Charity Initiative:We are supporting the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. You can find out more about them on https://www.pcrf.net/ or follow them at @thePCRF on twitter.Donations can be sent through our Tiltify campaign and will be open to any amounts! In exchange for a minimum donation of $5 USD, Donors will be given access to a fanwork of their choice out of all the works posted in the event so far. There is no limit for the amount of donations that each person can make!

The more varied the chosen AUs the better!Ships:This will be a multiship event! The general guidelines are that artists and writers must create pieces within the concept agreed upon from their content preferences form and respecting the minimum requirements for each role.Artist RequirementsArtist’s final piece must be a fully rendered art piece with 300 DPI of resolution including at least a half body depiction. We know this can have very different meanings depending on the artist's particular preferences and style, but we ask that you do your best to make sure your piece is as finalized as possible.During the application process, artists will be able to choose if they would rather create individually or collaborate with a writer.Writer Requirements:Writer’s final pieces must be between 3k words minimum and 5k words maximum and provide a sense of conclusion to the created story. We know a good idea can get inspiration flowing freely, so the maximum word count is a bit flexible, but all works must be finished by your final deadline. All works must also be titled and tagged appropriately in accordance with the Ao3 tagging system.Having a beta reader is optional, though recommended.During the application process, writers will be able to choose if they would rather create individually or collaborate with an artist. You will also later on be able to indicate if you would like to be paired with a beta reader to help you with your piece.Beta Requirements:We will not have separate beta applications: only writers who are already contributors in the event will be allowed to participate as betas.Writers interested in also being betas in the event will have the option to indicate as much during their applications.
